Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2020. /Kabar/. As of today, there are enough beds for COVID-19 patients in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Nurbolot Usenbayev told during a briefing on Tuesday.
According to him, out of more than 8 thousand prepared beds, 4,620 beds are involved at the moment, where 1,948 patients are currently being treated.
"We have 45% of the bed capacity in reserve. At the moment 4,943 oxygen concentrators and 506 ventilators are used for treatment," he said.
The deputy minister noted the epidemiological situation in the country remains tense and the population must take all precautions.
