Bishkek, Apr. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, there are no problems with basic-needs products, Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation Erkinbek Choduyev said at a news briefing.
He added that one of the ministry's important tasks is to ensure food security in the republic.
"Spring field work is going in normal mode, and there are no problems with foodstuffs," he said.
At the same time, Director of the State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Shukhrat Sabirov noted the Agency is working to prevent overpricing of socially important food products.
