Bishkek, Jan. 13, 2022 . / Kabar / . Flour mills in Kyrgyzstan have 1.5-2 months stocks of flour and grain, President of the Association of Flour Mills Rustam Zhunushov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He added that grain from Russia is supplied under previously signed contracts.
"Providing the population with domestic flour during the closure of borders by Kazakhstan is possible, provided that the flour is not exported outside the republic by illegal ways and with a continuous flow of grain from Russia. The capacity of domestic mills can provide 100% of the country's population with flour if there is grain," the head of the Association said.
