Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2022 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan held the first round of negotiations with the delegation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China to discuss the draft Agreement on the avoidance of double taxation, the press service of the ministry reported.
The sides met via videoconferencing from 17 to 21 January 2022 to negotiate an agreement on the elimination of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and capital between Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong.
The delegation of Kyrgyzstan was headed by Tynaliev, Head of the Customs Policy Department of the Ministry. The Hong Kong delegation was led by Chan Sze-wai, Acting Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Inland Revenue of the Hong Kong Government.
During these negotiations, the articles of the above draft Agreement were considered, and the relevant information was exchanged.
