Bishkek, Jan.14, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Financial Secretary Paul Chan as part of his working trip to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong SAR of the PRC).
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that during the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of expanding bilateral cooperation in the financial, banking, educational and trade spheres.
“Kyrgyzstan is interested in sharing experience with Hong Kong of the People's Republic of China in the creation and management of financial centers, banking system and logistics hubs”, said Kasymaliev.
The sides also discussed the prospects of cooperation on the issue of bonds of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Hong Kong SAR of the People's Republic of China.
In turn, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Paul Chan emphasized the great potential of mutually beneficial partnership and expressed readiness to actively promote the development of financial and economic cooperation.
