Kyrgyzstan hosts Kyrgyz-Indian exercises

Bishkek, March 10, 2023 /Kabar/. The joint Kyrgyz-Indian exercise "Kanzhar-X" has started on March 9, 2023 at the military unit 52806 of the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan with the participation of special forces.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, the opening ceremony of the exercise began with the performance of national anthems and the raising of the state flags of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of India.

The purpose of the exercise is to work out the issues of combat coordination of the units of the two countries in carrying out joint special tasks in various conditions of the situation, to increase the field skills of personnel, as well as to exchange best practices.

It should be noted that this joint exercise of special forces units between the defense departments of the two friendly states is held on an annual basis, and last year the exercise was held on the territory of the Republic of India.
