Kyrgyzstan, Hungary agree to open direct flight

Bishkek, May 4, 2022 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan, Hungary agreed to open a direct flight on the route Budapest-Bishkek-Budapest.

Such an agreement was reached during the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev with visiting Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The flight will be perfomed by the Hungarian airline WizzAir in the very near future.

The launch of direct flights Budapest-Bishkek-Budapest is very important for Kyrgyzstan in terms of further development of investment and tourism potential, the report said.

WizzAir is a Hungarian ultra-low-cost carrier. The airline serves many cities across Europe, as well as some destinations in North Africa and the Middle East. It has the largest fleet of any Hungarian airline and currently serves 44 countries.
