Bishkek, July 13 / Kabar /. The agreement on economic cooperation between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Hungary has been signed, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reports.
Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Economic and Foreign Affairs Peter Siyarto in the framework of participation in the informal meeting of OSCE foreign ministers in Mauerbach (Austria).
In the course of the conversation, the sides discussed the topical issues of regional interaction and cooperation within multilateral organizations. The sides expressed readiness for further strengthening of bilateral relations and discussed a wide range of issues on the international agenda.
Following the meeting, an agreement on economic cooperation between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Hungary was signed, providing for the establishment of a Kyrgyz-Hungarian commission for economic cooperation. The sides agreed to intensify trade and economic cooperation, including using the mechanisms of the specified commission.
The Ministers agreed on the need for a deeper expansion of the legal framework, especially in the trade and economic sphere.
The Hungarian side expressed support for the democratic reforms being implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic, ahead of the upcoming presidential elections in the Kyrgyz Republic.
