Bishkek, Nov. 16, 2021 . / Kabar /. The second meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held on Monday in Budapest, Hungary.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce reported that the Kyrgyz side was chaired by Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev, and the Hungarian side - by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs Tamas Menczer.
During the meeting, the sides considered a number of issues of bilateral cooperation, such as the opening of joint ventures in the Kyrgyz Republic, the work of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the Business Council, as well as issues in the field of the environment, agriculture and water management, education and culture included in the draft protocol.
In the framework of the meeting, a bilateral meeting was held between representatives of standardization bodies, which resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at eliminating trade barriers.
During the meeting, first persons of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz Patent, the Water Resources Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan spoke about the prospects of cooperation in their direction and urged the Hungarian side to intensify bilateral cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the co-chairmen of the parties signed a Protocol.
