Bishkek, March 2, 2022. / Kabar /. Minister of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Imanov met with Head of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Central Asia Tarik Sakhovich.
During the meeting, issues of the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed, the press service of the Kyrgyz digital ministry reported.
The agenda discussed the current legislative initiatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and IFC proposals to them, joint points of contact within the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026. The sides agreed to jointly hold a large event in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) and digitalization for coordination of efforts of all interested parties (government agencies, private sector) and development of solutions on the most pressing issues: simplification of the construction of ICT infrastructure, optimization of the licensing system in the ICT sector, etc.
Following the meeting, the sides noted priority areas for cooperation, including the creation of the Situation Center, the development of E-mail and fulfillment, and a number of other issues.
It was also decided to jointly hold the conference "Development of Digital Infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic" in April 2022.
