Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2019. / Kabar /. 15 projects are being implemented in Kyrgyzstan in the area of public-private partnership (PPP) amounting of $ 165 million, Daniar Abdyldaev, head of the PPP development department at the Investments Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic told at a press conference in Kabar Agency.
He noted that among these projects, 4 in the field of transport, 3 in the field of health, 2 in the field of tourism and sports, as well as projects in the field of education, insurance, etc.
“As it is known, PPP is a new mechanism, we need to carry out explanatory work. We conduct training seminars in government agencies, municipal and business structures. We are working in the regions. To implement these projects, our Agency visits investment forums abroad,” he said.
According to the results of 2018, a project on opening a hemodialysis center was implemented in Kyrgyzstan within the framework of PPP, which provides for the opening of 4 such facilities - 2 in Bishkek, Jalal-Abad and Osh.
“The second signed contract is the reconstruction of the Red Kyrgyzstan cinema. The sum of the project is $ 300 thousand,” added Abdyldaev.
