Bishkek, Jan.21, 2020. /Kabar/. The Electronic Transport Control (ETC) Automated Information System has been implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic, Kasymaly uulu Arslanbek, Deputy Director of the Agency for Road, Water Transport and Weight and Dimension Control under the Transport Ministry of the country told reporters.
The ETC information system is a software product, which is a centralized information system providing automation of the main processes of the Agency.
"The system is designed to improve the efficiency of transport control, automate the activities of the Agency for Road, Water Transport and Weight and Dimension Control to issue permits for transportation of passengers and cargo by road and water transport, and to maintain electronic records of violations of transport legislation, to exchange information on the results of transport control with the transport control authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states,” Kasymaly uulu Arslanbek added.
According to him, as a result of implementation of ETC system, following main processes have been automated:
- licensing;
- regulation;
- issuance of permits for international transport;
- the introduction of single registries;
- monitoring of weight control;
- introduction of e-database of superimposed administrative surveys;
- obtaining statistics;
- exchange of data on transport control with the transport control authorities of the EAEC member states.
