Kyrgyzstan imports 9 thsd tons of poultry meat in 3 months

Bishkek, May 3, 2020 / Kabar /. During the three months of this year, 9 thousand tons of poultry meat was imported to Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation Erkinbek Choduev said at a briefing.

He said that mainly poultry products come from Belarus and Russia.

“We import meat from a number of countries, the quota, which is given to Kyrgyzstan by the Eurasian Economic Commission, is 58 thousand tons. Over the past three months, about 9 thousand tons were imported from different countries, in particular from Belarus and Russia,” he said.
