Bishkek, Dec. 30, 2021. / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov signed a decree on the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of scrap and waste of ferrous metals from Kyrgyzstan outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
According to the document, a temporary six-month period ban is established on the export of scrap and waste of ferrous metals, ingots of ferrous metals for melting (ingots) from Kyrgyzstan outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan is instructed to notify the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the introduction of a temporary ban in the prescribed manner.
The State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of republic, the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security must take measures aimed at preventing the illegal export of the above-mentioned goods.
Control over the implementation of this decree shall be entrusted to the Department of Control over the implementation of decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers and the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This decree shall enter into force fifteen days after the date of its official publication.
