Kyrgyzstan imposes restrictions on movement of trucks in summer during daytime

Bishkek, July 9, 2021. / Kabar /. A restriction has been introduced in Kyrgyzstan on the movement of trucks in summer during the daytime, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Currently, there is a temporary restriction on the movement of freight vehicles on public roads in Kyrgyzstan from June 1 to September 1, 2021, from 10:00 to 20:00, when the daytime air temperature reaches 28 degrees and above, the report said.

Thus, the movement of heavy and large vehicles with a maximum total weight of 18 tons is prohibited. In accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, when passing vehicles through transport control points, explanatory work is carried out throughout the republic with individuals and legal entities carrying out cargo transportation across the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, in order to preserve public roads in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to increase their service life.
