Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2024. / Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov signed a resolution on the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of ferrous scrap and waste, ferrous ingots for remelting (charge ingots) from Kyrgyzstan.
According to the document, a temporary ban has been established for a period of six months on the export from the Kyrgyz Republic of ferrous scrap and waste, ferrous ingots for remelting (charge ingots).
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been instructed to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of a temporary ban.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to notify the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the introduction of a temporary ban in accordance with the established procedure. The State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance and the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security have been instructed to take the necessary measures aimed at preventing the illegal export of goods.
