Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2021. / Kabar / . According to recent data from the FIFA International Football Federation, Kyrgyzstan’s national team has improved its position this year, rising to 96th place in the ranking of national teams. It has improved its score by two points.
Uzbekistan remains the undisputed leader among Central Asian national teams, which has maintained its position for the year and takes 84th position in the ranking. It followed by Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan also improved its position - by four points - and climbed to 114th place.
Two teams from the region have worsened their positions. Kazakhstan’s team dropped five places to 125th in the rankings, and Turkmenistan 131st, dropping one spot for the year.
Belgium occupies the first place, followed by Brazil. Both teams retained last year's positions. Teams of France and Italy occupy the third and fourth places, rising by one line respectively. The English national team occupying the fifth line has dropped two steps down.
In total, the FIFA ranking includes football teams from 210 countries.
