Kyrgyzstan included in list of priority countries of Italy for allocation of vaccines - Italian Foreign Ministry

Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2021 / Kabar /. Within the framework of the first official visit to Italy, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Luigi Di Maio.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that during the meeting, the sides discussed the importance of developing the political platform "Central Asia + Italy", within the framework of which it is planned to comprehensively discuss the situation in Afghanistan, trade and economic issues and humanitarian issues. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed in detail.

Luigi Di Maio accepted the invitation to pay a return visit to Kyrgyzstan in the near future, and also announced with satisfaction that Kyrgyzstan was included in the list of priority countries in Italy for the allocation of vaccines against coronavirus infection within the framework of the COVAX mechanism.

As a result of the event, bilateral documents were signed in the field of education and agriculture, as well as between the two foreign affairs agencies.
