Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2024. / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan increased its supplies of berries to Kazakhstan and Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
According to data of the ministry, 4,616.6 tons of strawberries were exported in the first 8 months of 2024, which is 20.5% more than a year earlier. 1,470 tons of raspberries were exported, which is 36.4% more than a year earlier.
Also, according to data for January-May 2024, 236,572 tons, 10.9 million pieces and 1,134 m3 of quarantine products were exported from the country, compared to the same period last year, the export of goods increased by 28,280 tons, 7.2 million pieces and 273 cubic meters.
