Bishkek, June 16, 2023. / Kabar /. Farmers of Kyrgyzstan have increased the volume of deliveries of lamb and goat meat to the United Arab Emirates by 2.3 times. Such data are provided in the bulletin of the National Statistics Committee on foreign and mutual trade for January-April 2023.
Last year, 30.2 tons of these types of meat were exported in four months, and for the same period in 2023, UAE companies already purchased 69.7 tons from Kyrgyzstan.
At the same time, the purchase price of the domestic product increased by 5%.
In addition to the UAE, these types of meat were exported from Kyrgyzstan to Kuwait - 1.2 tons from January to April. But compared to the same period last year, the volume of deliveries decreased by almost 5 times.
