Tashkent, Nov. 2, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev took part in a meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in Tashkent.
Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Abylgaziev noted that economic crimes are transnational in nature, are closely related to other crimes, such as drug trafficking, smuggling and illegal proceeds, and pose a serious threat to the security of states.
“In the context of combating modern challenges and threats, the Kyrgyz Republic put forward an initiative to create an SCO body to combat economic crimes,” he said.
Then Abylgaziev added that in 2001, deciding to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Kyrgyz Republic, like all members of the organization, assumed a great responsibility to strengthen and increase the authority of the organization in every way.
“The Kyrgyz Republic today firmly adheres to its high commitments. Our meeting is taking place in difficult conditions for the development of the world economy and the world community as a whole. We can overcome difficulties and move towards our goals only by combining our efforts. I am sure that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will become a reliable symbol of peace and stability in the world,” he said.
