Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2018. /Kabar/. Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Kosmosbek Cholponbayev attended the HIMSS 2018 international medical exhibition on digital healthcare in Istanbul as part of his working visit.
The press service of the Ministry of Health reported that the Minister also got acquainted with the leading companies in the world in the field of e-healthcare.
Director of the HIMSS 2018 international exhibition showed on the example of a model of one hospital how information technologies work. Representatives of the Ministry of Health of Turkey offered the Kyrgyz side cooperation in the field of e-healthcare and invited to participate in the exhibition next year.
In addition, on October 27, within the framework of participation in the 5th Turkish Medical World Congress, Kosmosbek Cholponbayev met with Minister of Health of Turkey Fahrettin Koca.
He thanked the Turkish government for its invaluable contribution to the development of Kyrgyz health care and expressed readiness to continue cooperation within the framework of the bilateral Agreement signed in June 2014.
“For the past four years, we have received as a gift eight modern reanimobiles; a renovated and equipped family practice center in Osh; every year since 2015, 100 Kyrgyz citizens receive free treatment in Turkish clinics, and medical personnel improve their skills there. The construction of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital has been completed in Bishkek and it is waiting to be commissioned. it is unparalleled in the Kyrgyz Republic. A national database has been launched, etc. At the September meeting of the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, an agreement was reached to increase the quota for free treatment in Turkey to 150 people. The Kyrgyz people are waiting for help from their Turkish brothers in the development of public-private partnership in health care, which has achieved incredible success in Turkey,” Cholponbaye said v.
Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Cholponbaev also spoke about the new strategy for the development of Kyrgyz health care until 2030, which is based on the prevention of diseases and the optimization of primary health care, as well as the improvement of emergency and diagnostic aid to citizens of the country.
