Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan has introduced compulsory vaccination for cultural, leisure and sports workers, the press service of the Health Ministry of the republic said.
Thus, a decree of the Government approved the list of works in the territory of the country, the performance of which is associated with a high risk of infectious diseases and requires mandatory preventive vaccinations.
This list is now supplemented by work in the field of culture, leisure and sports (museums, exhibition halls, libraries, sports palaces, theaters, cinemas, concert halls, cultural and entertainment facilities, playgrounds, children's camps, fitness centers).
Given the emerging situation with the coronavirus infection pandemic, cultural, leisure and sports workers will now be vaccinated, including against COVID-19.
Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29 after receiving Chinese donated Sinopharm vaccine. In, addition, the country inoculates its citizens with Sputnik V and Astra Zeneca vaccines.
As of today, a total of 969,175 doses of coronavirus vaccine were administered in the republic.
