Bishkek, Nov. 14, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan temporarily prohibited licensing of activities related to the right to use subsoil to carry out geological prospecting, exploration and development of gold, silver and copper. The corresponding decision was signed by Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, the press service of the government reported.
This order does not apply to the renewal of licenses and to the exclusive rights of subsoil users to transform a license for the right to use subsoil.
Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Prime Minister Sadyr Zhaparov, during a meeting with residents of Ala-Buka and Chatkal regions of Jalal-Abad Oblast, said that from now on the issuance of licenses will be stopped, and previously licensed companies continue to work.
