Bishkek, Aug. 23, 2021 / Kabar /. A temporary ban was introduced for a period of six months on the export of recyclable paper and cardboard (waste paper and waste) from Kyrgyzstan (except for international transit traffic) outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The corresponding decision was signed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, a temporary ban was introduced in order to prevent a critical shortage of raw materials in the domestic market, stimulate production and increase the export of finished products.
The State Customs Service under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic should take the necessary measures to prevent the illegal export of these goods.
