Bishkek, Aug. 23, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan has introduced temporary restrictions on the issuance of visas to citizens of Afghanistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Taking into account the unstable military-political situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, in order to avoid the penetration of undesirable persons into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the mass entry of asylum seekers, temporary restrictions have been introduced on the issuance of visas to citizens of Afghanistan, except for the issuance of diplomatic and service visas (diplomats and members of official delegations), the report said.
It also noted that the issuing visas to students - citizens of Afghanistan is currently at the stage of approval.
