Bishkek, Feb. 18, 2022 . / Kabar / . First Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliyev held a meeting with Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan Latif Gandilov, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA said.
The sides discussed implementation of agreements reached between two leaders at a bilateral meeting on Nov. 12, 2021 in Istanbul in the fields of the 8th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States and summarized the results of the visit of an expert group on investments of Azerbaijan to Bishkek on Jan. 27-28, 2022.
Niyazaliyev noted the importance of holding the 4th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic, Scientific-Technical and Cultural-Humanitarian spheres in the near future, and also offered to organize the first inter-ministerial political consultations.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on expanding the treaty-legal framework between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
At the end of the meeting, the deputy foreign minister and the ambassador expressed strong willingness to continue active cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, socio-humanitarian and other spheres.
