Bishkek, April 27 / Kabar /. The parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Chynybai Tursunbekov visited a number of production facilities during his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In particular, the delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh visited the largest Iranian automobile factory Iran-Khodru and got acquainted with its production process, the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reports.
Tursunbekov, during the talks with vice president of the automobile company Said Tafazoli, said that one of the possible ways of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran is the implementation of joint investment projects. Tursunbekov also said that the Kyrgyz side will welcome such cooperation taking into account the industrial and technical capabilities Iran-Khodru.
"The leadership of Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting investments to the country and the Jogorku Kenesh at the legislative level is ready to create all the necessary conditions for this," the speaker said.
Vice president of the company Tafazoli said that the Iranian side is interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in particular in opening a joint venture for the production of motor vehicles. "We hope for the development of bilateral relations and we have all the opportunities to use our production potential," he said and added that the Iranian side hopes for the support of the Kyrgyz parliament in this matter.
Also, within the framework of the official visit, the delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh visited a dairy factory and a meat factory "Kale" in the province of Mazandaran. During the inspection of these two facilities, the two sides emphasized the possibility of mutually beneficial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran in the field of agriculture and processing industry.
An official visit of the parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Chynybai Tursunbekov to Tehran (Islamic Republic of Iran) has started on April 23 and last till April 27.
