The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said that on February 26 the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the infrastructure of the Bandar Abbas port and held talks with Director General of the Iranian port Mohammadi Karaji-Ran. The Kyrgyz delegation also met with governor of the Hormozgan province of Iran, Mehdi Dusti.
As part of the visit, on February 27, Tengiz Bolturuk met and negotiated in Tehran with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy M. Safari, Iranian Deputy Oil Minister - Head of the National Petrochemical Industry Company M. Shahmirzai, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade R. Mokhtashamipur, the first deputy head of the Organization of Iranian Railways H. Ashuri and the heads of a number of large Iranian companies such as Farab (specializes in the construction of hydroelectric power plants), Arma Industrial (metallurgical company).
On February 28, 2022, following the negotiations between the Chairman of the Board of the National Holding Company "Heritage of the Great Nomads" Tengiz Bolturuk with the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development - Head of the Organization of Ports and Shipping of Iran A.A. Safai between the National Holding Company "Heritage of the Great Nomads" of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Port Authority "Bandar-Abbas" Iran signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
In addition, on February 27, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the IRI organized meetings and negotiations between individual members of the delegation, including the First Deputy State Enterprise "Kyrgyz Pochtasy" R. Abdiev with the Deputy Minister of Postal Telegraph and Communications of the IRI - General Director of the National Postal Company of IRI Mahmud Layali , where issues of cooperation between the state enterprise "Kyrgyz pochtasy" and the National Postal Company of Iran were discussed.
On February 28, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Islamic Republic of Iran organized meetings and negotiations between the Manager for Sustainable Development of the National Holding "Heritage of the Great Nomads" N. Omurov with the President of the Institute of International Political Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran M. Sheikholeslami, with the Director of the Documentation Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran Khojateslamy Gholamreza Ghasemiyan , as well as with the director of the Central Library of Tehran University Fatima Sagafi, where issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of science and education were discussed in order to study historical and archival documents on the scientific and cultural heritage of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
In general, following the results of the talks, specific agreements were reached on cooperation in the transit and transport, petrochemical, mining, hydropower, scientific and educational fields.
