Kyrgyzstan is 68th in Passport Index ranking

Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2025. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan ranked 68th in the Passport Index 2025 ranking.

Kyrgyzstan provides visa-free access to 30 countries. Kyrgyz citizens can obtain a visa on arrival in 48 countries, and need a visa for 120 countries.

Kazakhstan leads among Central Asian countries, ranking 52nd (visa-free access to 46 countries), followed by Uzbekistan 68th (visa-free access to 32) countries, Tajikistan in 72nd place (visa-free access to 27 countries), and Turkmenistan in 76th place (visa-free access to 18 countries).

According to data, the UAE tops the global ranking and Syria holds the last position, with its citizens having visa-free access to nine countries.

The Passport Index evaluated passports of countries based on their citizens' travel freedom: visa-free regime, a visa on arrival, electronic travel authorization, an e-visa.
