Kyrgyzstan issued over 10 thsd soft loans to farmers

Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of Sept. 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of Kyrgyzstan issued 10,142 soft loans.

The press service of the Agriculture Ministry reported that the loans were issued within the framework of financial support of agricultural producers of the republic under the "Financing Agriculture-9" program.

Loans issued by Aiyl Bank OJSC, RSK Bank and other commercial banks amounted to KGS 5 billion 488 million 300 thousand.

Following are categories for the use of the loan:

- Crop production - 2 thousand 473 concessional loans in the amount of KGS 927.7 million;

- Livestock - 7,401 concessional loans in the amount of KGS 3 billion 35 million 60 thousand;

- Processing of agricultural production - 268 preferential credits amounting KGS 1 billion 525 million.
