Kyrgyzstan issues ID cards for Pamir Kyrgyz

Bishkek, April 26, 2021 . / Kabar / . The State Registration Service under the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic issued 60 ID cards for people who obtained citizenship of Kyrgyzstan.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that today in Chui Oblast, 12 citizens of Kyrgyzstan who arrived from Pamir, Afghanistan have received first document certifying their identity as citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Another 4 Pamir Kyrgyz received ID-cards in Naryn Oblast of the republic.

The remaining 44 new Kyrgyz citizens will receive their documents in the near future as part of the implementation of the Decree of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, the Plan of priority measures of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to ensure social stability and economic sustainability.

In accordance with the presidential decree, 106 ethnic Kyrgyz were granted citizenship of the country. All of these people received the status of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan in a simplified procedure according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

For its part, the State Registration Service urgently documented this category of people and produced passports certifying the identity of Kyrgyz citizens.
