Bishkek, Oct.15, 2024. /Kabar/. A meeting was held between Director of the National Agency for Investment under President of the Kyrgyz Republic Talantbek Imanov and President of the Association of Italian-Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry Paolo Todar and President of the Italian-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Giulio Amaducci.
In the course of the meeting, Talantbek Imanov informed the Italian delegation about priority projects in energy, mining and agriculture, as well as how the state provides conditions for the work of investors and entrepreneurs.
The head of the National Investment Agency also noted the great potential in various sectors of the Kyrgyz and Italian economies.
“At the Kyrgyz-Italian business forum, held recently in Rome as part of the official visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov, the investment opportunities of such sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic as agriculture, light industry, bottled water and banking sector were presented. The forum served as a fruitful platform for establishing new contacts and cooperation,” Imanov said.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to conclude a memorandum and actively cooperate on a permanent basis to implement investment projects aimed at stimulating sustainable economic growth of the two countries.
