Bishkek, March 1, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan has joined the COVID-19 Free Travel digital platform, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

To get the results of PCR tests for COVID-19, the user downloads the COVID-19 Free Travel application in the App Store or Google Play.

The application shows the user the nearest laboratories where they can get tested for COVID-19. When visiting the laboratory, the user must be informed of the intention to receive the test result in the application. In this case, the user will be provided with a consent form for the processing of personal data and for obtaining results in the mobile application. A QR code will be displayed on the form, which the user must scan through the mobile application. Further, when the test result is ready, the user will receive the test result in the form of a QR code, the Ministry of Health said.

Currently, for the convenience of citizens, preparatory work is being carried out to connect private laboratories to the platform.

The digital solution is aimed at reducing the risk of the spread of COVID-19 during the cross-border movement of citizens within the Eurasian Economic Union. COVID-19 Free Travel reduces the risk of spreading the disease and provides a robust intergovernmental control system.

Today Belarus, Armenia, Russia are connected to the information system.
