Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan agreed to accelerate the construction of an industrial trade and logistics complex on the common state border near the Ak-Tilek and Kara-Suu checkpoints, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu told following negotiations with Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev in Bishkek.
The agreement on the construction of the complex was signed in June 2023 by Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev and Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin within the framework of the Astana International Forum.
The creation of the complex will reduce the number of intermediaries, reduce the cost of products for the end consumer and increase the speed of deliveries.
