Bishkek, Oct. 14, 2020. /Kabar/. The situation at the state border is characterized as stable, the press service of the Kyrgyz Border Service said Wednesday.
A meeting between border representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chui area and Kazakhstan in Kordai are was held these days.
The sides discussed the prevention of violations of the state border and its regime, clarified plans for cooperation in case of aggravation of the situation at the state border, as well as plans for joint patrols of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh area. Special attention was given to information exchange.
Similar meetings were held at all sections of the state border. Border representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic are in constant contact with border representatives of neighboring states.
At present, units of the Kyrgyz Republic's Border Service serve in a reinforced regime.
Taking into account quarantine measures and epidemiological situation in the world, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic should familiarize with restrictions imposed in these states before leaving for other countries.
