Nur-Sultan, Dec. 8, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are planning to create an industrial trade and logistics complex on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov met on Tuesday with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin during his working trip to Nur-Sultan, where they discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said on Wednesday that the sides discussed in detail a joint action plan (Road Map) for the creation and operation of wholesale distribution centers in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the creation and operation of an industrial trade and logistics complex in the area of Ak -Tilek and Karasu checkpoints, which are scheduled to be launched in February 2022.
The practical implementation of these projects will increase the trade turnover between the two countries, which was proposed to increase in the future to USD 2 billion, the press service explained.
