Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan to apply common approaches to administration of import volumes of goods

Bishkek, July 31, 2019. /Kabar/. Bilateral meeting of Chairman of the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Onolbekov and Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance Marat Sultangaziyev took place in Nur-Sultan yesterday, July 30.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further cooperation, as well as issues within the framework of the implementation of paragraphs of Protocol of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council's VIII meeting, the press service of the Kyrgyz State Customs Service reported.

As a result of the meeting, the parties reached agreements:

- On application of common approaches to the administration of the volumes of goods imported;

- Holding of pilot of application navigation seals in transit of goods.

The officials noted the results of the implementation of the Protocol of the VIII meeting of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council will improve the efficiency of customs administration, reduce the transit time of goods, as well as increase the volume of transported goods.
