Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan to play in finals at the World Cup on Kok-boru

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2017 / Kabar /. The national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will play at the World Cup on Kokparu (Kyrgyz variant Kok-boru) in Astana.

As a result of the group stage, the national team of Kyrgyzstan achieved five victories in five meetings, winning the national team of Mongolia 4: 0, the team of Uzbekistan - 11: 2, the national team of Turkey - 13: 3, Tajikistan - 15: 2, the USA - 11: 6.

Kazakh national team became the winner of group B and got the right to play in the finals.

In total, 12 countries take part at the World Cup: Uzbekistan, USA, Turkey, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Hungary, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.

The first World Cup on kokparu is held in Astana at the racetrack Kazanat. Matches for third place and the final will be held on August 27. The prize fund is 18 million Kazakh tenge (more than 3.7 million Kyrgyz soms).
