Bishkek, Feb.18, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication (SCITC) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) signed an agreement for $5 million.
According to the SCITC’s press service, in order to achieve the strategic goals of the Digital Kyrgyzstan Concept of Digital Transformation and execution of the Road Map, representatives of the KOICA and Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication signed an agreement on the project of modernization and development of the potential of the Tunduk system of interagency electronic interaction.
The objectives of the signed agreement are to create conditions for the organization of effective and stable electronic interaction between individuals and legal entities with state bodies, to ensure unhindered and timely access of citizens to high quality services through modernization of the Tunduk system of interagency electronic interaction and the state portal of public services.
The document also aims to develop technological base and capacity building of government employees through special adapted programs.
As part of the official signing ceremony, the representatives of KOICA and SCITC also discussed future plans for joint implementation of this project.
The sides agreed that the need for the rapid introduction of the latest technologies and developments in the field of electronic interaction between state, municipal authorities and private sector to provide the population with a wide range of modern and convenient services is a requirement of time.
As noted, the project will be implemented in the period from 2020 to 2024.
