Kyrgyzstan lacks 220 ventilators, over 2 thsd oxygen concentrates

Bishkek, July 1, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 220 ventilators and 2,003 oxygen concentrates are currently lacking, Deputy Minister of Health Mademin Karatayev said a news briefing.

As of today, the country has 493 ventilators and 610 oxygen concentrates.

"On July 3, we are waiting medical equipment from Russia and China. We are also negotiating with Turkey to provide the necessary medical equipment," he said.

Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Wednesday 439 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 5,735.
