Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan launches information campaign “Export Caravan. Regional development”.
The information campaign will start on Feb. 18 and runs till March 3, head of the export development and promotion department of the Investments Promotion and Protection Agency of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Aripov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He said that the goal of the caravan is to inform the country's business community about innovations and trends regarding the production and export of products.
“During the campaign, representatives of the Investments Promotion and Protection Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Inspectorate, the Ministry of Economy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Guarantee Fund JSC and the Tax Service will talk about the digital solutions for exporters, new export financing tools, writing business plans to attract investment, how to increase export potential, registering companies for export in the European Union, new challenges and opportunities for exporting agricultural products,” Aripov said.
Also UNDP Trade Facilitation Project Coordinator Urmat Takirov said that the campaign is funded by the Government of Finland in Central Asia in such countries as Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, etc.

He said that this project aims to create conditions for local producers and also local economies to create more jobs and get more profitability.
“One of the key points of the project is that we focus on export-oriented production and export support. We study the experience of other countries and apply it in our country. Today, unfortunately, it should be noted that business often suffers from a lack of information. For example, there are people who earn somewhere abroad, make savings and decide to open some kind of business. But they don’t know how to start, they have an idea, but they don’t have information on the whole business process, especially export. Because the rules are changing, other countries are introducing new rules, norms and procedures, which will undoubtedly affect the profitability or loss-making of the business. Therefore, this event is a bridge between those trade support institutions that exist in the country, which provide support to business and those that are in the regions,” Takirov said.
