Bishkek, May 2, 2020 / Kabar /. The Archival Agency under the State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan launched a virtual photo documentary exhibition of the Great Patriotic War.
The photo exhibition was prepared on the basis of documents stored in the state archives of the republic. (www.pobeda.srs.kg ).
Site users can view documents for the period of 1941-1945. Among them: declassified telegrams and resolutions of the Kyrgyz SSR, orders of the Council for the Evacuation of the USSR, photographs of Kyrgyz citizens assisting the Soviet front, a virtual exhibition, letters from the front, report said.
In addition, the portal contains photographs of the celebration of Victory Day on the streets of the city of Frunze (current Bishkek) in 1945 and of Kyrgyz people on the military fronts - Duyshenkul Shopokov, Ivan Panfilov, Cholponbai Tuleberdiev, Dair Asanov and many others.
A feature of the exhibition is fragments of audio recordings about the recollections of WWII veterans about battles at the front. Over 140 thousand information about Kyrgyz people during the Second World War, archival data, books, and the defense industry of Kyrgyzstan were collected. An important part is also the electronic data bank on dead and missing soldiers during the war, the search for information about the participants of the Second World War.
