Bishkek, Dec. 23, 2024 . / Kabar / . In order to increase the availability of legal assistance to the population in Kyrgyzstan, the online resource Jardam.kg has been launched. This portal is created to provide users with high-quality and timely legal support on topical and frequently asked questions.
The resource was developed by the Legal Aid Service under the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan with support from USAID's Ukuk Bulagy project.
"The Jardam.kg platform provides users with easy and convenient access to legal answers and instructions on a wide range of topics in Kyrgyz and Russian languages. The portal covers issues related to the rights and obligations of citizens, drawing up documents, protecting rights in court and many other important life situations," the report says.
The topics on the portal were selected based on frequently asked questions that come to the Legal Aid Service (LAS) through personal appeals to LAS coordinators and centers, as well as to the 114 hotline.
The site is already attracting users due to the availability of content through search engines. The monthly reach reaches more than 11,000 visits and 4,700 users at the moment, which emphasizes the relevance and demand for the resource, especially given the high interest in Kyrgyz language materials.
