Kyrgyzstan launches project to support farmers

Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2025. / Kabar /. A Financing of United Commodity Producers project worth 200 million soms was launched on January 1, 2025 to support farmers of Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev told during a working visit to the Batken, Osh and Jalal-Abad regions at a meeting with delegates of the III People's Kurultai and local residents.

In his speech, the minister emphasized that the main goal of the project is to stimulate the process of consolidation of small-scale production and provide state support to united commodity producers by providing affordable and preferential loans. The project will operate for a total of 60 months or 5 years and is financed from the republican budget, by Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank OJSC.
