Kyrgyzstan launching comprehensive training program for court bailiffs

Bishkek, Dec. 2, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is launching a comprehensive training program for bailiffs, the press service of the Judicial Department of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic reported on Wednesday.

In order to improve the quality of execution of court decisions, training of bailiffs is being held in Bishkek on the basis of a comprehensive training and professional development program for 2020 with the support of a technical cooperation project to build the capacity of the bailiff service, implemented and funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in cooperation with IDLO.

This technical cooperation project is part of the legal reform program implemented by the EBRD.

The training program covers a set of the most pressing issues of enforcement proceedings: liability in enforcement proceedings, foreclosure on urban and agricultural land and animals of the debtor, the search for the debtor within the country and abroad, alternative dispute resolution, the use of mediation in enforcement proceedings, the basics of rhetoric and the art of conflict management in the activities of the bailiff.

Bailiffs of the Service of Court Bailiffs of the Bishkek districts and Chui Oblast are being trained.

The organizers of the training observe all necessary measures to ensure compliance with sanitary epidemiological standards.

At least 100 newly appointed court bailiffs across the country are expected to be trained by the end of the year.
