Kyrgyzstan leads in medal count in III WNG

Issyk-Kul, Sept. 08, 2018. /Kabar/. The results of the 7 days of the Third World Nomad Games (WNG) show that the Kyrgyz team leads in the medal count, First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told at the final press conference.

He said that at the moment Kyrgyzstan has 100 medals, of which 40 are gold, 30 – silver, and 30 - bronze. The second is Kazakhstan with 69 medals, of which 16 are gold, 24 – silver, and 29 - bronze. The third is Russian national team with 52 medals, of which 16 are gold, 11 – silver, and 25 - bronze. The last of the leaders is Uzbekistan with 33 medals, of which 7 are gold, 8 – silver, and 18 - bronze.

The WNG programme includes 37 sports. 2 thousand sportsmen from 74 countries and 12 subjects of the Russian Federation took part in the games. 267 individuals served as judges during the competitions, of which 49 are of International category.
