Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . A moratorium on inspections of business entities has been lifted in Kyrgyzstan, Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety under the Ministry of Agriculture Almaz Sharshenbekov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency Wednesday.
He added that the Cabinet of Ministers decided to lift the restrictions of the moratorium on inspections of business entities, the temporary ban was in place since 2018.
"This decision was made in order to prevent the sale of suspicious food products, due to which there is a risk of infectious diseases and food poisoning. As the analysis showed, the facts of low-quality preparation and improper storage of animal products, non-compliance with personal hygiene up to the catering staff were found during the sale," the director said.
This decision was made on Sept. 15 of this year.
