Bishkek, March 8, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan logged on Monday 33 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 86,583, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.
The new cases included 17 in the capital city Bishkek, 12 in Issyk-Kul, 2 in Jalal-Abad Oblast, 1 in Naryn Oblast and 1 in Osh city and were discovered out of 2,125 COVID-19 medical tests that were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours.
45 more recoveries were registered over the past day, taking the count to 83,575.
The headquarters reported 2 new COVID-19 related deaths over the past day, taking the death toll to 1,473.
Currently, 334 people are currently hospitalized across the country and 260 patients are receiving treatment at home.
