Bishkek, March 24, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the press service of the Cabinet reported.
The Ministry of Health voiced data on the current epidemiological situation in the country, which today is stable.
After the meeting, the participants heard information about the coronavirus vaccination rollout. It was noted that the work on vaccination of the population continues.
As a result of the discussion, Edil Baisalov instructed the Ministry of Emergency Situations in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to study the possibility of canceling the state of emergency, introduced by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on March 22, 2020.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to work on the issue of abolishing the mandatory rapid testing for coronavirus infection of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic when crossing the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.
In addition, presidential envoys in oblasts were instructed to continue the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 together with the Ministry of Health.
